NAPLES, Fla. - New construction is starting to come back.
In Collier County, one place you'll see new contruction is on Collier Boulevard, near Vanderbilt Beach Road. Developer Andy Zuckerman said it's a perfect location for new homes.
"We have all the shopping, houses of worship, a rated schools, close proximity to 75, I think it's fantastic," said Andy Zuckerman, the President of Zuckerman Homes..
This isn't his first time building in Naples. His family-owned company, Zuckerman Homes, also developed Mariposa at Whipoorwill. But like other developers, the housing collapse forced him to hold off on buying any new land until now.
"We've been watching over the last 18 months, we thought that the market already bottomed out and coming up to this past year, now was the time to get back in and start building again," said Andy Zuckerman.
And they hope to give home buyers the tools they'll need to jump back in as well, by creating the website HomeHub.com, to help educate anyone interested in buying real estate.
"From the time you start the thought process that you want to buy, all the way up until you actually buy a home, and everything in between," said Ryan Zuckerman, Vice-President of Zuckerman Homes.
"We have all this knowledge, how do we give it back and do it in today's marketplace how do we give it back and what better way than the web," said Andy Zuckerman.
Giving hope to those in the market to buy, or sell, or build.
